I am interested in what might happen if two or more materials collide.  In this series I used, wax, salt, string, newspaper, vodka, hair spay, ink, watercolours, oil paint, acrylic paint, tissue paper, glue, bubble wrap, wine glasses, masking tape, toy cars, a balance bike, cosmetic spay bottles, hair dye squeezy bottles...

While obsessed with Yves Klein and anthropometric art,  I used Pollock’s favourite paint – gloss enamel – to cover my own body.  I  ‘Pollocked’ my head since I didn’t want to have to scrub gloss enamel from my face.  It worked well, giving the piece an unexpected dynamism.  Reading  Tracey Warr’s The Artists Body with much interest.
